This bakery belongs to the same group as All Sabor, but in my opinion, it offers superior quality (despite All Sabor being more famous). The strawberry and whipped cream cake is delicious; I always buy it for celebrations.
A great place for a quick breakfast, either at the counter or to go, since the service is fast, or for those who prefer, there are also tables. First you pay and get a ticket at the register, and then you pick up your order, which seems standard in Rio de Janeiro. Everything I tried was tasty, but it's best to avoid the cheese bread, which is inferior.

Excellent coffee, I think the cakes are the highlight of the café, they are exceptional, fair price, best place in the center to satisfy hunger in the late afternoon or early morning.
Simply a delightful place... opens very early (enough time for a typical downtown Rio breakfast). I love the toasted sandwich (with Minas cheese) and a coffee with milk... pleasant atmosphere and great price... Highly recommended! (next to the McDonald's on Rio Branco).
Bela Mix is a place near Rio Branco Avenue and McDonald's where you can have lunch and/or a snack and you won't regret it. They offer good prices and fresh, tasty food. I ordered the executive tilapia lunch and it came with rice, beans, farofa, vinaigrette sauce, and the tilapia. Plus a soft drink or natural guarana. You can choose your preference. Very good! They serve at the table, but there's an addendum: there was a delay in delivering the lunch and they apologized. You can eat decently, at a table and chair, with good service and still see people passing by.
A great option for an afternoon coffee break after work, the Minas cheese croissant (R$10.00) is very good; there's always a fresh batch available at 4 PM.
